Kinda big? and yes deep ass pockets. There is no stretch to the materials at all though, if you have wider hips it will fit really weird. I got a pair last time it was on sale, cut the liner out to wear at home and it's just alright. Not sure why there's a hype/cult following for these.

Evan at this price these are still a rip-off. Couldnt imagine paying this much for some thin shorts. The addidas ones were just on sale for like $7

I've always been confused why garment vendors use "made from X% recycled materials" as a marketing strategy. Such details have always made me more averse to buying the clothes than I would've been otherwise. I associate recycled goods with inferior goods. I know the marketing is designed to appeal to people who prioritize environmental sustainability -- and I'm generally in favor of that -- but I'm not going to pay extra or purchase an inferior product for the sake of supposedly reducing my carbon footprint by a measure that's impossible for me to calculate. It's not really a concern for disposable goods, but for anything with long-term use, I want the product to use the best materials the market can source.

I think the idea is that they're repurposing ocean trash instead of leaving that trash in the ocean or in a landfill. Or something like that. Either way, it doesn't justify the high price tag.

I own two pair of these. They're fine, but I don't get the hype.

The pockets are ridic deep, but phones seem to fall out of them when you sit down. There's zero stretch, so if you're hiking or something it's difficult when you make a big move. And they like to slide down in the back. They have a liner, which you may feel good or bad about.

They're rough and tumble, they're durable. That's great but it's not what I want out of shorts most of the time. They make an okay all around for swim trunks and shorts, but they don't do either great.
