$60 for a 2 person tent with aluminum pokes and a full rainfly is a pretty good deal if you're in the market for something like this.

At 55" wide, it's a legit 2p tent. Kind of odd that it has an extra pole to push out one door, but not the other. I guess that makes one the primary door and the other a back door, as the lords intended. You get a second door, but extra headroom, so a little bit of both. I like that the rain fly only uses 2 stakes for the vestibule; good compromise between 1 stake and small vestibule, and 3 stakes.

The negatives I see (for my use) is that it doesn't use as much mesh as I'd want in the inner, and the fly doesn't seem to have vents.

The NF one was 4 person, single-walled tent. More of a festival tent in a low-humidity environment than a camping tent. This Marmot tent is a 2-person, 3-season tent. They don't list the waterproof rating, so it's a bit suspect, and the doors in the fly are of a style that tends to let water drip inside the tent when you open them in the rain (the third pole is supposed to reduce that issue), but for $60 it appears to be a very good tent for car camping or short backpacking trips.

Edit: appears to be 2000mm waterproofing on the floor of the tent. (per Outdoorgearlab)

It's better than some of the lower quality tents you'll see at 1200-1500mm, but there's certainly better. The big unknown is how durable the coating is. I ordered a few to replace some of the 2p Eureka tents used by my son's scout troop that are starting to die after ~5 years. Even if they only get a year or two out of them, it will have been a good investment.

I have 10+ tents and 2 of them are Marmot tents. I love the brand. This brand is better than any Walmart tent and has a slight notch above North Face tents. It's a good deal.

I currently don't own a 2 person tent so going to give this a try. I don't have a Sierra store where I live but I was able to get Sportsman to price match and will be picking it up on 10/17. Thanks op.
