The nano puff is what I would consider a fall or mild winter jacket. The down sweater is a real deal winter jacket.

Kidding...I wouldn't pay $239 for this jacket, but I have paid $120 for it before and would do it again if I didn't already own. Excellent lightweight jacket. Yes you could probably find something similar for less money, but they also have a solid warranty program and the jacket performs as expected, as with all Patagonia stuff I've owned.
