I bought this wrench 220ft/lbs instead of the ratchet 35ft/lbs deal. Main reason for this purchase was for batteries as I have Ryobi lawn tools and having an impact wrench for wheels/suspension is nice, too. Used a Home Depot deal with capital one and got 2% back. Check your credit card for additional cash back offers.

Good deal just for two batteries and a charger. They also have a 2 pack of 4AH batteries for $79 [homedepot.com].

Any reason to get this if I have the 1/2 inch high torque? Seems about the same physical size. Wish they made a 90 degree 3/8 impact like Kobalt.

I'm no expert but I just replaced brakes on my vehicle a few weeks ago. I only used 110 lbs of torque to put the nuts back on and this produces 220. I don't foresee it being an issue for that type of light duty work.

Will the charger charge 12v batteries from older Ryobi tools from like 6 or so years ago?
I'm assuming it won't

Usually you pick a 1/2" drive for taking off lug nuts. With that said this will probably work on some lug nuts and not others depending on how many ugga duggas the last guy who put the wheel on gave it.
