Sure it's a better card, but is it a better card for the money? The 4080 is at least 1/3 more expensive. The 4090 is a better card too, but at a much higher price. I think the metric to look for is 1080p, 1440p, or 4K gaming performance per dollar spent. A Ferrari is better than a Buick, but not if your goal is to drive the speed limit and get from point A to point B.

Their ratings are 98% positive in last 12 month and the card ships from Amazon. Putting that aside, Amazon will take full responsibility and make it right if something does go wrong, based on the comments in the reviews. It's returnable for 30 days.

I have two concerns however. First, if they're not an authorized reseller you probably didn't get then manufacturer warranty. Second, the 7900xt does have a decent chance of being discounted next week, so it might be worth the wait if you can get it from a more reliable source

If it was the XTX it'd be closer but even then 4080 has more options with dlss etc

4080 super is around 21% better, take what you will about the price / power ratio. The staggering price difference between 4080 and 4090 is gargantuan, plus with the leaks about the 5090 being 30% better the 4090 is just not a good investment at the moment. I am waiting for the Xmas price drop myself. I am still using an ancient 3070 that is starting to struggle at 1440 🤣
