Yes. Looks nicer (integrated setup rather than underseat addon), works well, much more trustworthy that it won't leak and ruin your floor, and it has ladies mode as well as the butt spray.

The sprayers also tuck out of the way and have a bit of self clean function as you turn the dial. The cheap addon ones usually expose the spray heads where they can get dirty, collect pee, and need cleaning.

Don't get me wrong, I've owned 3 of the under-seat style ones and recommended them to many people...but these are better.

The only downside is that you will start not wanting to poop anywhere but home!

$35-$50 ones from Amazon do just as good. Had them for 4 years with no leaks or issues. Amazon has the S101 for $89.99 https://www.amazon.com/Brondell-S...B0815BNKLV.

So, is this any better then the basic 20 dollar one you get from Walmart?
I know I'm late and not sure if anyone else has said this . But my ol lady hated cleaning the under seat bidets . A royal pain to clean. This one is wayyyy easier to clean around .

I don't know for sure but I wouldn't cheap out on something like this. For most products, if it breaks, you're out the cost of the product. For a bidet, you could end up with water damage everywhere if you don't catch a burst, and even worse if you're on vacation or something you could cause tens of thousands of damage.
Don't need to get premium one with heated seats and stuff (I have one and love it though), but I'd at least get something reputable even if on the cheap end.
I came here to say this… I just noticed the cheap bidet I had for years leaked from the within the casing, leaving a puddle of water behind the toilet for who knows how long. Thankfully we have LVT in the bathroom. I thought I got lucky and didn't have to worry about leak once the hoses were installed correctly. Never expect it to leak from within the casing. I'm getting the Kohler mentioned in this thread for replacement instead. Not taking the chances anymore.

Yes because it's integrated and designed into it, you don't get the large gap that you get with the seat down. He had new Elongated toilets at our family cabin that wouldn't work at all with the cheap add on ones, the seat would hit 3/4 down, I got one of these from Lowe's and installed, seems great and the only issue is the seat sometimes doesn't want to stay up which is the problem with many of these depending on the toilet reserve tank

I am a bit lost on the TP panic buy currently... What is driving this madness? raw material shortage? Ports strike? FYI, ports strike really doesn't affect the TP at least I read they are routing through the west coast then railways...
Ultimately, panic buyers cause panic buying. They buy everything and cause a real shortage that makes others panic.

I've had this for a little over a year. I also have a cheap underseat model in a different bathroom. If/when I need another I'll just go with another cheap underseat model.
Pros:
  • Lower profile looks nicer and is more stable than the underseat models.
  • Sturdy. You can definitly sit on it and at 165 lbs I can stand on it without worry.
Cons:
  • Reduces the seat size and makes it less confortable for larger people.
  • Knob is small. It's not obvious which direction is which function.
  • Self cleaning feature is totally unnecessary and sprays a fine mist which totally drenches your undercarriage. This probably depends on your water pressure. I mostly solved it by installing an additional flow restriction in the line.

Test your water pressure with a gauge. It should be around 50 psi to reduce risk of burst pipes. The self cleaning doesn't totally drench the undercarriage, water just trickles in self cleaning.

If water pressure is too high, install a regulator for the whole house

From photos, the water supply to bidet is not stainless, higher risk of bursting.

Been using one of these for decades. Works great and multipurpose. Just have to remember to turn off the valve when not in use, since their hoses can start leaking after several years.

Many different versions.

Leaking. My biggest fear is another place to have a flood.

Sounds like user error and you're installing it wrong lol. I've never heard of one leaking from the hose - they don't typically just fail like you claim

Got this bidet today and was excited to install and try it. Junk... The supplied o-ring on the T adapter is undersized and poor quality. It leaked immediately from the bottom of the T adapter nut. Which means the o-ring isn't the correct size. If the O ring was 10% bigger or came already seated in the T adapter it would have worked fine. If they cheaped out on an O-ring then what else did they cheap out on.
