4D massage chairs have been around for years. The fourth dimension is just the strength/interval.

I have the Ogawa Master Duo from Costco and the AI is gimmicky. Great chair though!

Agree - the idea of buying just to try and returning sounds incredible difficult and a huge hassle, but on the flip side the peace of mind that comes with buying from them is what drove me to buy from there.

Take my opinion for what it's worth, but I did a ton of research last year (settled on the Ogawa Duo) and I can confidently tell you that at $3k plus buying from Costco, that's as good as your going to get if you're chasing the "better than entry level, but not as expensive as the top tier" kind of chair.

If you're wondering about BF deals, I obsessed a bit and looked through a bunch of past threads and deals; my synposis is that these chairs regularly go on sale throughout the year and it's really not that much better in terms of money saved to wait until BF. They run the same $1000-1500 "off" price consistently.

Do these go all the way down to the hamstrings or stop at the glutes?

This is why I bought a 4d chair from Best Buy as a total tech member. They delivered it and I honestly thought it wasn't good enough to keep so I called them and scheduled a pickup return. They came into my house and brought it out to a truck to return for me. I didn't lift a finger. I called Costco to ask if they did something similar and they said I would have to return instore myself. This is also impossible for most people including myself, they chairs are a beast.

My experience so far trying many different chairs hoping to find the magic one is that you really have to spend a lot of money to get a high-quality chair that you will like on day one and day 60 and day 365. It is a huge investment and a huge thing to put in your house.

How can anyone return this heavy beast to the Costco store?

If someone is buying online, Costco would never ask for an item to return in-store. They would send someone for pickup.

The Ogawa Duo is 7k+. Are you referring to a different version?
