The sweet day arrived! They brought back the 65" at $2000 w/ the free soundbar as well. I can finally shut up and await my delivery now!

For those who have ordered one of these through the Partner Store recently, when the TV is delivered, can you opt out of the "in-home delivery" when they get there? At checkout I wasn't given an option to change it but figured it wouldn't be a big deal as long as it gets to my doorstep and I can tell the guys "I've got it from here"...but I don't know if that voids something if there is initial damage upon inspection, if the actual delivery guys aren't the ones who unbox it and look at it with you.

Delivery guys dont unbox it
They will only place it wherever you want and get your signature and a confirmation pic so I think you should be fine by getting it delivered to your doorstep

The delivery guys for my 77 C4 took box top off (it was still sitting in the box base) so we could plug in and inspect that it was working before I signed for it. Which I personally appreciated. Though overall that could have just been an outlier. RXO was the delivery company.

Ordered 9/19, soundbar came 9/25, TV came 9/30 for context.

Oh, word. Yea that would be fine with me as well, since I could just plug it in downstairs for them to do a quick check. My main concern would be that they'd "have" to move it where it's going and set it up, and I'd much prefer to just move it myself since it'll be going upstairs in the game room.

I just went online and hit the return option next to my order and they sent me a label 4 days later in my email. There was a customer service person that contacted me 2 days after I hit the return button to tell me I can't return a free soundbar, but then I received the label and figured it was still worth a shot.

That's wild. I'd be concerned it wouldn't work and you'd lose out on the soundbar entirely after that.

I was willing to take the risk, and if it didn't work my plan was to call them back and have them send it back to me. Either way, I have no use for a soundbar.
