"Slow release" and "Quick release" have both been possible on Instant Pots for a very long time...
Stop spreading rumors, I've had a instant pot for more than 10 years . And it always had a quick release.

This is old style. New one had quick pressure release button.
Good to know. Is the button better? Any other reason to prefer the new one?

If there is no button to release the pressure you need to wait atleast for 15-20mins even the food(I usually cook rice only) is cooked and the pot is off.

Why there is no separate Sous Vide button -- do we have to use Keep Warm for that?

All instant pot models have a quick release valve and have for years. You can verify this with a quick search.

Agree with all instant pot models having a quick release. I had one of the first models and it had the quick release. Maybe it has change but you simply turned the steamer valve on the top to release the steam. The newer ones had a switch to open the steam so while it was diff, they still had the same function. Unsure what the person is talking about older models not having a quick release as mine did.
