You should be able to use giftcards. You just can't use them for orders with future timing, you've got to choose pickup ASAP.

Yes, I got this last time and it was pretty effortless. Ordered on the app (while signed into account) and shortly after I picked up order, the deal was loaded onto my account. I redeemed the free pizza several weeks later. no problem!

Problem is, my local store doesn't allow gift card payment when ordering online. Have to pay when picking up. Does it tell you that you qualified at the checkout page, without paying?
