Although, you could rip your discs and set up Plex server if you want to have access to your library when out of the house. I decided to go with the convenience of Movies Anywhere. To each their own, I suppose.
FACT : every digital copy can be downloaded to your own private server , hard drive or device.
Fandango Now ( VUDU ) always had this option and still do even after the merger.
I can download each movie to my tablet for on the go access or to my desktop / laptop for storage.
If you say you don't own these after buying them? Show proof.
Access to a streaming website may or may not last forever , so if you loose content it's because you failed to protect your investment.
