It's not conditional. No battery on the case even if anyone doesn't want to buy it. 🤣

18 hrs battery on the earbuds themselves. For some this will be better than the typical 6 hrs on earbuds plus another 2-3x charges from the case battery.

I'd enjoy some buds that last over 6 hours, but as a result, they seem tall/large and I bet they'd stick out pretty far. I also wonder if they would be falling out often from the weight?

I have a variety of earphones, including AirPods (1, 2, 3), Pro 1&2, and other headphones, but these are the most convenient and have the smallest case. As an Android user, I appreciate how quickly the battery level is displayed on my Pixel. Also, I appreciate that I always know how much battery I have. It's not like it's usually 100% and then suddenly drops to 0%, which irritates me. I put them on and I know 48%, so that's good for another maybe 8 hours.
Also, the sound feels objectively better than the Pro 2 and definitely better than normal AirPods Pro.
The buds and case are quite small, yet they are wonderful for wind when I'm on an electric skateboard, at EUC, or on the New York Subway. The idea of not having to worry about noise cancellation draining my battery but still getting pretty good ANC is fantastic. However, they cancel sounds really good that I constantly need to remove one bud to hear what someone is saying. Still faster than shutting off the music, switching to transparency, then back to ANC, and finally to music

Fun fact: The Galaxy Buds+ can easily do 6 hours if you pair them with a Samsung phone.

Their protocol is significantly better than anything else that's available.

How is that relevant? They simply said they wanted buds that last 6 hours.

Refurbs regularly go on sale for under $70 and they were even cheaper when Samsung did their trade in program.
