If so, is this a good price for a capture card, generally speaking?
I'm seeing a lot of green/pink issues on Amazon reviews so I'll probably skip this...
This is probably overkill for switch because that only supports 1080p output. I got this for my PS5 because I wanted 1440p120hz passthrough. Also passthrough is seperate from your capture rate. You can get the XR1 lite for ~50$ (40 on Newegg), which has less bandwidth for the PS5's 4K stuff, but fine for 1080p. It'll probably also be fine for Switch 2 too as long as you're okay with the 1080p capture (probably).
