I've been using a TeamGroup 1TB MicroSD card in my Steam Deck, later transferred to a Steam Deck OLED after a reformat, (I saw the issue before and after the format) and it has enough quirks when under load that I'm going to one of these 1TB Samsung EVO drives. I had a 256GB EVO in the Deck for almost a year, and had zero problems. The TeamGroup mSD will randomly throw a fit when under heavy load, such as when a large game update is unpacked and installed, something the Samsung drive never did.
This looks to be the cheapest these 1TB Samsung Evos have been since they launched this year, with the price usually settling at $90-$93. $80 + 7% off with a Prime Card is a good deal. We'll probably see it again on BF. Competition in the 1TB space is fierce, and $80 is still a premium over discount rivals.
