Retailers are choking on these 7800xt and 7900xt, let them die that hill.

I have the 6900xt that I got last year for 600. In terms of performance increase into the next generation a 7900xt should equal that of 6900xt. But it's the 900 dollar 7900XTX that's somewhat on par with it. 7800xt is said to be below a 6900xt.
It's all FYI I know. But looks like AMD gone and did a weird price change to compete with Nvidia's prices.
