I was just going to ask. I have both a PS5 and Switch and was wondering if they were the same performance and quality-wise since they're older games?

I have the Switch Master collection and it's decent. MGS3 is being remade (MGS Delta). I mention that because the aiming controls in the Master Collection are clunky and it's fixed in Delta. Delta will play like MGS V.

Most likely. I got the PS5 version but have not played it as yet. It didn't have any separate DLC code. Like most other games you still have to download it when you insert the disc.

Can confirm about awful controls for MGS3, especially if you're used to modern 3rd person/1st person action games and FPS. Here's to hoping they don't screw up with Delta because despite the awful controls by today's standards, MGS3 is still one of the best games ever with an amazing story and soundtrack.

As of 10/8, each version is about a dollar cheaper and the Xbox version is the same price too.

One can assume, playing any game from this era and earlier may likely be uncomfortable. Tank controls, unintuitive control schemes, etc. Try playing Syphon Filter on PS1 today. Today, everything conforms to FPS-style controls, which were lambasted in the PS1 Aliens Trilogy game.

I'm all in for physical buy even physical games nowadays aren't really "physical" because you have to re-download the game as soon as you insert the disc. Not at all playable in a world where the PS5 network is discontinued.

Does the PS5 version require you to download everything? I know the switch does because they went cheap on the cart, but I assumed the disc version would have capacity for all the included games...

All the games as far as I know are playable offline. The only thing I know for sure you need to download is the comic and language packs and different region versions. If you want the other languages on disc, you need to import the respective version.
