Getting ready to pull the trigger on the 3-pack AXE4900 at $250 (+ the 20% back on my rewards card).

Anyone have any 1st hand experience?

I'm currently using a Nest Mesh system which I have to reset too often and is frustrating me. I have a 3 story home with about 40 wifi bulbs/switches and don't really game but we do stream. I really just want something that will be stable and I don't have to reset too often.

TIA

no experience with TP LINK mesh in general, but try this code, should get you 10 percent off. Found this in a previous post.

It worked! Saved me $25 Smilie

Thank you and repped.

Still waiting for feedback. Wanted to order before they kill the coupon. Will return it if the feedback isn't very good.

Items with PCB denote additional savings.
Where I come from, PCB = printed circuit board.

Maybe define your acronyms if they aren't common knowledge.

Thanks. I had to pull the trigger on this one. I just got fiber optics at home, so now have 2Gb internet, and stuck with an old mesh router with 1gb ports. So this will be a great upgrade. 4 x 2.5Gb ports per box makes this perfect.

I am using an older TP-Link Deco mesh system. So I have some experience.

One question for you: What is your internet speed? If your speed is 1Gb or less, then this model is WAY overkill and you can do better for less money.
This is a WiFi 7 mesh system: bleeding edge and fast, but expensive and worth it if you need up to 2.5Gb internet. I just upgraded my home internet service, so this is a good deal for me.
If you don't require that much speed, you should consider sticking with the older WiFi 6 or 6e models to save yourself some money. I do like the "Deco" line, and can recommend them if you find one that matches your needs at a good price.

I set up (2) of the 2 piece TP-Link Deco AXE5400 systems in two different homes back in June.

Set up was super easy with the Deco app on the phone.

Both were using good quality conventional routers and these things were a massive improvement!

Neither has been touched and both have been rock solid.

I thought they seemed a little pricey but I can say they are worth every penny.

I never had issues with their mesh setup in my house. My only gripe is the app does not have a lot of features. Great for someone who just wants stuff to work without much configuring but not great for those of us who like to tinker.
