This seems like a great deal, even has Thunderbolt. Other than the underpowered RTX 4060, any issues with this laptop at this price point?

This is a nice machine if you have the 10% off and the AMex $100 amex promo.. Makes it about $500 plus there is /was 15% CB today as well.. so real good as far as price and specs . The only thing that could make this fantastic if it had a 4k oled screen but that would be a higher price point.. I do not think you will see much better for the holidays as the same type of deal happened last year and we all jumped on it due to all the CB , amex offers and the extra 10% coupon plus that unit was a 4k oled screen but no 4060 gpu which for most of us did not buy it for gaming...

A 60w 4060? I'd pass on that. Should be 90w+ to get good performance.

Yes it is. It has 2 slots, so theoretically up to 96gb of ram. More realistically 32gb.

Has anyone gotten the email discount to work?

Not really. It depends on what you want out of your pc. This laptop is designed more as a standard laptop that can play games if you need it to. If you're using your computer primarily for gaming, I'd look elsewhere. This gpu is much more limited at the 60 watt power limit, plus the other specs of the laptop that aren't geared towards gaming.

Thank you for that. While i don't use the pc primarily for gaming, i do occasionally play and would like a replacement that won't disappoint in that area. On paper, the specs on this look pretty good but admittedly I've never researched laptops before. Compared this laptop (specs only) to the $1000+ laptops on SD and was wondering what differentiates this from those.
