Bought this on the previous woot deal and damn thing stopped working after the second project. It started splattering paint and spraying sporadically and then quit completely. Checked all contacts and connections and determined the motor died. Otherwise it was handy for small jobs and put out a smooth coat of paint

This style of sprayer is really limited in its use. I bought a similar unit on Amazon over a year ago to use to spray some rooms and while I was able to get it to work in the end, there was a learning curve, mostly around diluting paint to get the correct viscosity. Too low and the paint would run. Too high and it spatters. Also, the nozzles tend to clog readily. Doing any kind of large scale painting is something I wouldn't recommend - having to get the viscosity just right in pint-sized cups, repeatedly, is a real PITA. I'd only get this for very small projects (like perhaps furniture?) where you don't have to dilute the media.
