Got this camera but they barely lasted past warranty period. 2 cameras have died, the homebase 3 is having problems loading videos. They get stuck in a state where they hold charge but cannot pair anymore. Someone else's theory is that these aren't watertight properly so every single time it rains you have the risk of breaking it. The two that died were 1. in the open area's of the yard and had the most sun exposure but trying to prevent that defeats the purpose of "solar" cameras.

i have the old eufy cam 2 and it still works like a champ...been 6 years now ... i have solar panels on all my camera and never have a problem except ..

a 1TB SDD is $50 new - and you then have to install it and deal with 2 warranties. If you only want 1TB for a while, better off getting it from eufy. If you want > 1TB then get it from Amazon.
