I now have this installed inside my garage to capture human movement. For that specific use-case, it's REALLY good. The regular plus zoom view feature is brilliant as now you can make out people's faces. The resolution is real 2.5k unlike what my old Wyze advertised. Mine does support continuous recording, so idk what the other poster is suggesting. The app and its execution is a bit on the odd side that takes a little time to figure out. Flood flight is bright enough. Good value at this price and blows away the Wyze floodlight I replaced it with.

Have 2 of these installed for about 2.5 months now - quite pleased with them. I have them connected to the HB3, but put SD cards in them as well - both installed in place of existing floodlights on my driveway and in my back yard, about 13 feet off the ground, in each case. I figured I'd put SD cards in them even though I'm saving recordings to the HB3, just because I didn't want to climb the ladder again if I decide for some reason in the future to store the recordings on the SD cards.
Someone mentioned lumens, and I was concerned about them not being bright enough, but they are equivalent in brightness to the standard 2-floodlight motion sensors they replaced. Brightness is adjustable as well, if you are in a high density neighborhood and don't want to blow out the neighbors with overlighting.
I was also concerned about them "false triggering" and the lights being on more than they were off, and that has not been an issue. They WILL trigger with motion outside of the coverage zone, but no more than the "dumb" motion sensors they replaced; the floodlights triggering don't necessarily trigger a motion event recording, as the device is only recording if the privacy zone is breached. My neighbors are used to the old floodlights triggering anyway, and TBH I think it's somewhat of a help for people walking by to have some lighting, as the property can be pretty dark later in the evening.
They integrate nicely with Alexa, which I use to announce if someone is detected in the yard or driveway. One disappointment is that I tried adding them to existing routines for both my front and back eufy doorbells - the existing routines will trigger TP-Link smart switches to click on the porch lights if motion detected between 10PM and dawn (my porch lights go off at 10 PM) - the existing routines work great, but I wanted to have the floodlights turn on when the porch lights turn on as well, and, even though the routine lets me define an action to turn on the floodlights in addition to the porch lights, the floodlights don't respond - hoping a firmware update on the eufy side fixes that).
I was a little concerned about the turret style tracking camera being noisy - but it's very quiet and you'd have to be looking at it to even notice it's recording/tracking. I have "privacy zones" defined so as not to record neighbors walking by on the sidewalk. For my driveway, the "default position" covers just my driveway as well as on-property walkways on both sides of the driveway. For my back yard, the "default position" covers two windows at the back of the house, as I'm mostly interested in capturing any attempts to gain entry at those windows. The floodlights can also be voice commanded to turn on through Alexa, so that they can remain on for outdoor entertaining if needed - the motion detection can be overridden for a pre-set amount of time in those instances in the eufy app.
These are a good deal @$150 IMO. A LOT of tech and a lot of settings and adjustments - be prepared to spend some time setting them up to get things "just right" though.

Agree with the good comments above. I installed one of these over my garage looking over the driveway and cul-de-sac. It does a great job tracking delivery drivers and pedestrians. I have a ring floodlight pro in the back of the house which I plan to replace with one of these.
I think the ring floodlight is slightly more accurate with motion detection than Eufy, but the e340 blows ring out of the way in every other way.

I've mounted my e340 on the corner that sticks out at the back of my home. I love it except that the motion sensing strip is not around the entire device, so with the alignment to the mount and all there is a dead zone for the motion sensing. I keep the camera on continuous scanning, so it will eventually cover that spot but it isn't as quick to respond as when i wallk into the motion sensor area.

i have the eufy flood light cam 2 and the light constantly triggers and comes on with false movement all through the night ... no matter how low i set the sensitivity it comes on even with car noise ... anybody have problems with this new flood light turning the flood lights on with false trigger .

The optical zoom provides a clean crisp image that you'd want in a security camera. Plus the camera pan and tilts. It does provide continuous recording if you have it paired with a home base.
Im transitioning from Ring to Eufy because Ring is increasing their subscription from $100 to $200 a year. plus these cameras provide 4k quality , have faster WiFi connectivity and are subscription free.

I upgraded from one of those and this one is miles, miles better.
Intrigued, but a newbie to home security cams (but not tech in general, am professional). A few questions I hope someone can help me out with
Can you set "zones" to make each of the two floodlights trigger independently (illuminating one of two areas based on motion), or would this require two units?
Similiarly, can the brightness of each floodlight be set independently? My thought process: one light might point out towards the walk/street, requiring maximum brightness, while 2nd might be pointed down more towards porch, max light might be obnoxious to visitors? (or maybe I just put some kind of physical filter on top of the light?
What's the deal with the paper stickers they put on the floodlights? Nearly every photo shows them partly peeled off, but at same time reviewers who say they WANT to peel them off say it's really frustrating
Motion detection (here maybe the most newb question): I have many bushes and trees in my front yard, will their sway in the wind be triggering movement detection all the time, or are the AI/other settings sufficiently advanced so it can ignore that "signal white noise"
Thanks for any answers!

1. No
2. No
3. Stickers easily removed from the two units I have installed.
4. My 2 units occasionally false trigger, usually when some anomaly is present temporarily (i.e. moving shadows from overhead trees on my driveway). Sensitivity is adjustable, and "privacy zones" can be defined, so as to ignore certain parts of the camera's view of inanimate objects. I suspect a lot of false trigger complaints are from people not understanding the settings and taking the time to make adjustments. Again my false triggers are occasional (maybe every few weeks) and it's kinda funny to see what's captured as "human" in the thumbnail, where I can see "yeah, I can understand why it thought that might be a human" - I just recently shared a "false trigger" thumbnail with eufy for my eufy indoor pan and tilt cam that I use in my garage - it saw the tan headrest and seat of my old convertible as "human" and I LOL'd. Being able to submit it to eufy says they are working on improving their AI, and I haven't had enough false triggers with any of my eufy devices to make me lose faith in them (2x doorbell cams, 1x pan and tilt indoor cam, 3x 2C Pro outdoor cams, and 2x of these floodlight cams).
