Killer deal on a very good microphone for Zoom / Skype, podcasting, karaoke and other content creation. Comes with desk stand and cables, both usb and xlr. Lowest price in about a year.
I got one of these last time it was on sale at this price about a year ago. I'd already had my eye on it because the dual USB/XLR interfaces would allow me to use it now and upgrade to XLR later, but honestly, it's been good enough for my use case (Teams calls/meetings) that I haven't felt the need to upgrade yet.
Would it be better for me to get a second Samson Q2U or would this ATR2100X blend in well? I would be using it for a podcast mostly, maybe a little music (instruments)

Samson Q2U is a great mic. I had one but after a year the mini USB broke. If you use the XLR it's not a problem though. Q2U doesn't pick up any background and vocals sound very crisp and clean. I'm going to be upgrading but have decided yet.

i think they are very similar in the sound quality. but this ATR2100x has new usbc port, which is way better than the usb-b

I know these are two different price ranges but which is a better mic - the Logitech Blue Yeti at $89 or this ?
I spend most of my time on zoom calls so would love a solid mic.
This is a solid mic for those looking to start a podcast, do teams calls, etc. One recommendation is to toss that stand and buy something that will get the mic closer to your mouth. Either a cheap scissors boom arm or just taller desk stand.

that mini usb is infamous for breaking.. Mine works 70% of the time, and the rest i have to remove and replug. Thank God it is still going strong.
But i do have my eye on a cheap xlr interface. Hopefully i won't need it too soon.
my friend gave me a cheap urlhasbeenblocked from back in the days. It has a basic arm (i think the arm is 20$ by itself) that I have my Q2U mounted on. This microphone looks awfully similar to the Samson counterpart. I would say any decent arm would do.

I had both and found this to be better than the Blue Yeti for zoom calls. The Blue Yeti picked up a lot of background noise this doesn't. The Blue Yeti was also particularly sensitive to vibrations through my desk even though I had iarsuspended on a shock mount on a boom arm. Even on its simple tripod, this is better.

ETA: whoops, staff beat me to it and my search failed to turn it up. My bad.
