I still have my SanDisk "liquid metal" 4gb drive from years back. Probably a rebate deal. This site was practically built on flash drive deals lol.

You've been deceived.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 is the same thing as 3.1 Gen 1 and in fact is the same as 3.0.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 is also the same as 3.1 Gen 2.

The only type of USB 3.2 that's actually new and faster is 3.2 Gen 2x2.

No doubt this was a fluke but I was able to snag it for $7.51. I went to the link provided by the OP and saw it was listed as $17.10 and I also noticed there was a black/gray version of the drive so I clicked on that. That one was a few dollars more so I than selected the silver one again and this time it showed up as $7.51 so I ordered one. After thinking about it for a moment, I thought I would get a couple more and when I went back to the page it was still showing $7.51 so I tried to order a couple of more but no dice as I keep getting an error. Of course now it is showing $17.09. I guess it was a case of being in the right place at the right time.

Make sure it's sold and shipped by Amazon or you will probably be getting a fake from a third party seller.
