I think the person was talking about Charge Limit, where you can set the device to NOT ALLOW charging past 80%. People believe that doing so will allow your battery to last years longer, although you're device is always at 80% or less charge.

This is not the same as fast charging to 80% and then trickle-charge to 100%.

Later devices have this (my iPhone 16 Pro Max) and others don't (my iPad Pro M2).

Pulled the trigger on this after missing out on the target M2 ipad pro deal the other day. Feels like this may be one of the better options/deals on a new model before black friday?

I believe this is the best price that the new 11" M4 iPad Pro has been sold at. I bought mine from the Apple Edu store during their Back-to-School sale so with gift card it netted to $799. But straight up, $849 is a great price and even more so if you are getting the 5% cash back w/ an Amazon Card on top. I've had mine since launch and it has been awesome!

Deal may be sold out. When using link above and then trying to either buy or add to cart, I get an error message from Amazon saying "something went wrong". It's not letting me purchase. 🤷🏽 ♂️
Correction: it seems just the Space Black was no longer available. I used the link for the Silver and order went through. Not my 1st choice, but I'll take it in Silver. 👍🏽

I got the 12.9" M2 Pro during the Target sale two days ago, for $129 less than this 11" M4 Pro. I think that was the better deal for my use-case (needed the larger display for drawings/notes), and M2 is plenty powerful enough for years to come.
