  • This item is slightly higher than our last Frontpage Deal from October of 2023 (here), but has not hit lower than $16.99 once in February since that time and still represents an excellent savings/value at its current sale price for this highly-rated product (4.8 out of 5 stars based on 1,205 Amazon customer reviews).
  • Don't have Amazon Prime? Students can get a free 6-Month Amazon Prime trial with free 2-day shipping, unlimited video streaming & more.
  • If you're not a student, there's also a free 1-Month Amazon Prime trial available.

Only thing I don't like about this tester is how big it is compared to others. Its about 1/3 bigger then all other normal outlet testers. As a electrician I like to have tools take up as little space as possible in my bag

Good price, it's a very basic device so it's not amazing or anything. I like the GFCI test button though.

It's like we always say at work, "If it works, it's a Fluke!"

Is this useful for non-CFGI outlets?

Absolutely. It will tell you if the wiring is correct (polarity and ground) and the audible beeping is useful whether it's a GFCI or not (when you're attempting to remotely determine the corresponding fuse/breaker to the corresponding outlet).

I'm not sure what ccc is, but that price is remarkably similar to the retail price of the case.

It can't trip any breakers. It just has an audible alert to let you know the supply is hot, which could save you a trip to the breaker box to rule out a tripped breaker in the event of a no power issue.

This is kinda big. These will trip an outlet but I've yet to see one trip a GFCI breaker.
