I bought the clip 4 last year on sale for $40 and use it daily. Just bought the flip6 and ill follow up on how good they sound.
EDIT: They arrived on time and sound great esp the bass its def sound better and louder than the clip 4, ill be keeping both.

I have the Uboom. It's so darn good with the right firmware. Not as portable as the Flip 6.
I've read about the uboom many times where is best place to purchase? The flip 5 I have is ok but not even stereo sound. Idk about the 6.

Assuming the size doesn't bother you, the Boom 2 no question. Way way deeper bass and gets a ton louder.

Thanks, I'm a little hesitant as I don't listen to much bass heavy music and it'll be for hearing podcasts a couple rooms away like 90% of the time. Maybe I'll go with motion 300

How is the sound quality when comparing to the JBL CHARGE 5?

I have this and I actually preferred my flip 4 over it. It doesn't have stereo sound and you can't make calls on it. Also I think the sound quality is middle of the road.

Is there not a reason to get this instead of the deal posted? Same speaker right? Just includes a case for the same price?

I have 2 of these, and I got them years ago. You can pair them as stereo. The only downside is that 1 of the speakers is somehow malfunctioning now and makes jitter noise whenever it is played.

Why don't you look into the Wonderboom 4. Was rated #1 by the NYT Wirecutter section. I have it and it has a Podcast mode and sounds great, open and clear at all volumes. It's tiny and I use it to satisfying results when I'm on the deck. You can even pair another one in stereo mode and the battery lasts 14 hrs.

The JBL Flip 6 is also good and at a current real good price.

Just so you know, all these BT suck when you go above 70% volume. They all get shouty and fatiguing. If you stick to reasonable volume, then the JBL or Wonderboom will be more than enough. If you want to rock out, get a home stereo system or headphones, because non of these toys will impress beyond a certain volume.

Grabbed one because I wanted something a bit smaller than my Charge 5 for tucking into a backpack drink holder to take along for sports practices. Haven't used it yet but size-wise it seems to be perfect for that.

For technical question if someone can chime in what happen. I have this JBL Flip 6 just few months ago and it start acting very weird. I paired it with Amazon Fire TV and unfortunately the bluetooth will be automatic disconnected after everyday used. I have to use another bluetooth speaker. it good for few days and it start acting the same way. I then reuse the JBL Flip 6 and it will be ok for few days and then acting same way. Currently, i am rotating that 2 bluetooth speakers. Thanks in advance.

I got a Flip 6 in November of 2022, and after a year or so, I dropped it from about waist height onto a tile floor. After that, it started having periods of sounding hollow or jittery. Since it was already out of warranty and I had other BT speakers to use, I opened it up, and it turns out one of the soldered connections to the speaker was loose. If I were handier, I'd re-solder or otherwise fix it, but I've been lazy since the Flip 5 I got in early 2021 is still going strong.

I'm a big JBL fan from my days as a small-time live sound engineer, but I've read online about other people experiencing something similar, so I'm probably going to wait until the next version of the Flip to upgrade. I'd be tempted to try something from another brand, but the form factor of the Flip is basically perfect for my primary use (standing up on the shower shelf next to my shampoo/facial cleanser).
