I use the cordless one for car polishing it's excellent and cheaper than a car polisher.

Each time I've tried battery ones they lose rpm as the battery degrades and lead to scratching. I don't mind the cord since I run dust extraction hoses as well.

I love my dewalt corded sander. Im sure people have their own opinions but I personally prefer wired because I tend to do a lot of sanding and don't want to have to worry about charging all the time
