The 2K resolution is important for seeing detail at a distance. License plates, facial recognition, etc. I think it's worth $20-$30 more per camera to upgrade to 2K for that reason. Arlo also makes 4K cameras as well, but the price goes up a bit more for that.

Do you have this product? Curious what you think about the solar panels. I just re-charge the batteries when needed. Are the panels easy to install / do they keep you from having to re-charge the battery?
