I saw this combo yesterday and considered posting it, but then I took a closer look at the included motherboard and decided against recommending it. The included motherboard is trash tier. It has a 5+2+2 vrm that'll thermal throttle under sustained multicore loads. It can probably handle the 7600x for general use and gaming, but you won't be able to upgrade to a better cpu in the future. Additionally, it's rated 2.5 eggs (stars) on newegg, with 50% 1 egg (star) reviews. Youtube review including the non-plus version (with the same vrm configuration): https://youtu.be/naX-DnKekCM?t=536
Motherboard specs page: https://www.gigabyte.co
The included ram is intel xmp rather than expo (though this isn't a big deal, it's still compatible, you just might have to manually input some timings) ddr5 6000 cl36 using samsung memory chips, so it has significantly worse overclocking/tuning potential compared to hynix kits.
If you're certain you'll never upgrade from the 7600x, and will actually make use of the slow gen4 (at gen 3 speeds) ssd, this is a decent deal, but there are definitely better options. If you're looking for a bundle in a relatively similar performance tier I'd recommend grabbing the $128 r7 5800x + 32gb ddr4 deal for $128 and separately purchasing a ~$80 b550 motherboard: https://slickdeals.net/f/17809608-amd-ryzen-7-5800x-am4-desktop-processor-cpu-32gb-ddr4-3200-corsair-vengeance-memory-128-00
The 5800x is currently backordered, but you can still add it to cart along with the free 32gb kit of ram.
It'll be a fair bit bit slower than this 7600x bundle in gaming, but it's far cheaper.
Also, if you live within range of a microcenter, just get the $350 7700x bundle: https://slickdeals.net/f/17803665-micro-center-bundle-amd-ryzen-7-7700x-cpu-gigabyte-b650-gaming-x-ax-v2-mb-g-skill-flare-x5-series-32gb-ddr5-6000-ram-350-free-store-pickup
It's a "Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Internal SSD Up to 3500 MB/s SNV2S/1000G" ($56.99 value) https://www.newegg.com/kingston-1...6820242730

also when you get a $80 b550 mb, isn't that going to be the same low-tier "trashy vrm" kind?
people buying this pretty much are the ones buying from scratch. meaning going for the am4 set you'd need a motherboard, meaning it's becoming $128 + $80 (lets assume the lowest tier) + $55 (give or take) for the SSD, which pushes you to $265 range, and suddenly it's not THAT far off from this set.

people buying this pretty much are the ones buying from scratch. going for the am4 set the chance is when it's time to upgrade, you'll have to ending up buying everything anyway.
buying that am4 set is $128 + $80 (lets go for the lowest tier) + $55 (give or take) for the SSD, which pushes you to $265 range, and suddenly it's not THAT far off from this.
With regards to the am4 motherboard, since am4 is a last gen platform you can find motherboards at a massive discount, so you can find pretty good b550 boards at around $80 on sale. The upgrade path of am5 doesn't matter much when the vrm is so poor it can barely handle a 7600x, if you want to upgrade in the future you'll likely want to replace the board anyways.
Moving on to the ssd, the free ssd included is quite low tier. It's a dramless drive with unknown components (since kingston keeps swapping out components for this model without announcing or documenting the changes https://www.techpowerup
The 5800x has roughly equivalent multithreaded performance (due to having two more cores), but the 7600x is around ~18% faster in singlethreaded performance for tasks like gaming. The 5800x, motherboard, and ram will be around $208 (and you get to pick your motherboard, prioritizing the features you want). The free 1tb ssd included in the 7600x bundle is realistically worth ~$40 (though only because of how much the prices of ssds have increased). So you're basically spending ~$82 (assuming you're valuing the ssd at $40) more to get 18% better singlethreaded performance and be stuck with a low tier 1tb ssd that really shouldn't be used as a boot drive and a motherboard that you shouldn't slot a higher end cpu into in the future. Additionally, you're taking the gamble that the motherboard with 50% 1-star reviews on newegg and 26% 1-star reviews on amazon won't have any issues.
As I say in my initial post, for someone who doesn't live near a microcenter, can tolerate the compromises, and will actually make use of the ssd, this is a decent deal. That being said, it's nowhere near as good of a deal as it appears on the surface.
