Completed a build a few months ago with an older 850W EVGA SuperNova G2, and a 6900XT... I'm getting outrageous coil while, when scrolling, during games of course... wondering if getting a newer PSU and future proof with ATX 3.0 might help? I know it's the VRMs vibrating on the card, but I've also read it can be power delivery issues... though, I've never had problems with the SuperNova line.

I would not get this 3.1 is already out might aswell get that, has the improved 12vhp cable. Im myself waiting on the seasonic focus 2024, releases next month

Mixed reviews and it's "Speculative" on the A Tier PSU list. I'd buy the Corsair RM 1000x for $20 more. Still might but I think I'll wait.

Edit: Unless you REALLY need 3.0… in which case I'd suggest you spend more to protect whatever you are running with it…
