I have this in two systems.. one with a 4090 and other with 3090ti. It's a monster, for $200 and if you are on AM4 it's a no brainer. Crushes games and work.

My daily driver CPU. Paid $550 for it at launch and it was worth every penny. Still has 0 problems with any gaming and video editing I do.

Was on the fence of replacing the second one of these that are flaking out. First one was warranty. Second one just outside of the three year warranty.
Time to move on I guess.

I definitely use mine, but I got in on the 5900XT deal for $300 with a nice MSI Tomahawk B550 mobo last week.

With that deal I upgraded my cpu and am building a nice secondary PC for the kids.

In 1u,its usually a passive heat sink, and 40mm fan blowing on it from the side.

The 5700x3d is said to be the game crusher for 200 bucks.

With the raw processing power this would benefit cpu intensive games like RTS games.
