This only upgraded my membership. It did not renew it or extend my current date expiring 12/31/24.

At least that is what their store brand is.

Only works if your membership is expired, other wise it'll offer to upgrade your membership. Mine expires at the end of the month so it was only $5 to upgrade it, others were offered $25.
I was able to upgrade a different email that had an expired membership on it for $10.

Where I live, there is Costco and BJs within 5 miles of each other. There is a reason why Costco has 300 people in the store and BJs has 30. They are an absolute joke. Once I went in for a rotisserie chicken, they had none available, the area was dark, and they said the guy who makes the chickens didn't come in today. Can you believe that? That's just one example of complete incompetence.

This is a good deal if you need it now. I've been renewing around Black Friday the last couple years and getting more in credits over a few months than the membership costs.

I just get BJ's for the cheap gas. For me
Costco is #1 but the farthest by far.
Sams is #2 and the closest so it is our primary big box + grocery store.
BJ's is #3 and has cheap gas

I don't agree. At least in east coast. Bj is much cheaper and better. People are crazy about Costco because they can play with return policies!!

get the mail deal "Join for $20 and get $20 in rewards" several month ago. First didn't get the reward after purchase was met. After twice online chat, they finally honored the reward.

Won't let me do it? Maybe because I have a One+ account? It expires on 10/31 and says it's $110 + $30 for the third person on the account, so no change.

Cant agree more. I shop all 3 and they are within 1 mile from each other. BJs got variety, costco has no variety just bulk volume. Sam is shieit show. Everyone got some deals, BJ gas is another plus but BJ prices are way higher than costco prices.

There is stuff in BJs that is not available in Costco. There are specific items that I can only buy in BJs that aren't available in Costco. Vice-Versa. I agree that Costco is always packed compared to BJs. It seems like Costco sells more stuff in general compared to BJs. More electronics, more toys, sporting goods in general.
