I have the 3/8 fuel version of this with the higher torque and faster spin, as well as the 3/8 extended reach, and 1/2 high torque rachet, I do not use the extended reach at all, nor the 1/2 high torque. As a car guy DIY'er, it's a massive convienence for fastening longer bolt and unfastening many. I tend to use a 1/4 adapter on these, as I think the 1/4 head would be more useful. For $53, this and a 3/8 M12 Stubby and 1/2 M18 Mid-Torque takes care of 99.99% of my jobs.

Checkout waysource.com for batteries. I'd get the 2.5 and 5.0s for m12.

Good for light use, the fuel version is a lot stronger and about 7 years newer. I got a fuel for 90 bucks a few years ago and use it more than I thought I'd use an electric ratchet. I don't know if I'd buy a cordless tool that's been out for well over a decade as they really do get significantly better every few years.

This is a lot more useful than most people think. Also this is probably one of the slimmest rachets from the major power tool brands. If you already have batteries that fit this, then this needs to be in your arsenal

I would think extended reach version would be more useful

Normally I would agree, tho this version (of Milwaukee models) will get used more simply because its head has the better probability of getting access into the many tight spots (in import engine bays).

Its kinda the difference between the more-superior DLSR that gets benched / unused many times, since our phones (or the EOS-M / Magic Lantern) don't hinder us as much.

Yes, there is a compromise- this non-fuel ratchet head can only take so much torque if you use it like a breaker bar on larger/rusted bolts- the tiny camshaft will probably be the part that cracks. It still has plenty torque to handle 3/8 non-impact work.

I had this for many years, did plenty of motor swaps and rhd conversions. It broke twice but was covered by warranty. Forsure a good deal. Fuel is stronger but this one is still good to use. Way better than doing it by hand. A time saver forsure

Damn, is the code dead?

"Oops, we can't find that coupon code"

This is cheaper than you can find it for on offerup, craigslist, fb marketplace
