This TV from Costco or BJs is $1299 with 5 year warranty. On LG if you want 4 years , (+3) is $149 extra bringing it to $1318. So if you want warranty Costco is a better deal with 5 years for $20 less than from Partner store with only 4

Many think warranties are a bad investment. However, I just got burned on a Samsung being 3 months out of the CC extra year and it sucks. Wish I had bought a warranty. This is why it is a pleasure to buy from Costco.

This would include groups like military, teachers, government workers, and healthcare workers.

Biggest issue people were having with the Partner Store seemed to be about a month ago during one of their flash sales. The TVs were saying in-stock, and they'd charge your card, but the delivery dates were coming and going with no package or the info wasn't being updated on the site under your order. This had people worried and calling CS to be told their TVs were actually backordered and the new projected dates were in November or something. I haven't seen much of those posts lately, so I assume everyone just got their TVs (albeit a smidge later) and never bothered to give updates.
Also, if there's an issue with your original delivery, I can see where it'd be a bit of a pain to get an exchange/repair/return processed as someone LG hires would have to come out (their schedule willing) and inspect or pickup the item, whereas Costco or Best Buy is a drive down the road for all that.
