I have this one, and I love it. The sound is good; awesome bass; can get very, very loud if you need it to.

When I bought it a couple of years ago, everything else at this price point was utter rubbish, including the TCL 2.1 sets.

Agreed. Bought the tcl with sub woofer to replace this but the Vizio out performed it big time

I have an old version of this on my PC as the speakers. Sounds fantastic for the most part, had to tweak the bass a little lower for a more balanced sound, but does sound great for the price. No issues 2+ years on.

I got the V20-J8 and it has distortion in the low end during sound range testing.
Can also hear it in music, movies, etc. when it hits that range.
Submitted for warranty and the brand new unit did the same.
Then I looked up reviews and others stated the same.
Other than that I liked it.

Agreed - this has surprisingly good sound and bass, considering the lack of a dedicated sub. We use it daily paired w/ an 86" in the living room and it's been great for gaming, movies, music, etc.
