This is an awesome chainsaw and great price. I have this along with the Dewalt 60V 18" and 20". It lasts much longer than the 60V versions and perfect for limbs and small cuts. I think it's on clearance because a newer version is being released.

Dumb question: does this already have oil in it or do you need to add oil before using it out of the box? Thanks!

Did not expect to buy a chainsaw today, but was able to snag one for $89. I have a Stihl as well but figure I'll use this for quick clean up and when I don't feel like firing up the gas chainsaw.

Has anyone experienced oil leak from this chainsaw and can advise on this?

Mine is leaking through the bottom, not through the cap. It will drain the reservoir if it sits for months. Some said to drain the reservoir if it is not in use, but it is not practical.

Just a side note. This doesn't include chain oil which you'll need.

Mine oiled slicked the garage/shed floor more than once. I just run it dry and hand lube the chain since i can't remember to put it up the right way, but I only use it like once a year, so there's that. Still a great deal.
Instructions say to drain the oil after each use, which no one will do, lol

I got the last one an hour away from me. I recently entered the land of yellow when I ordered another SD that came with batteries less than a month ago. I was going to order a cheap 2-stroke from Amazon (Pink Way or Proyama) for my yard duties on my 1.2-acre home, but I saw this and couldn't resist.
I am thoroughly impressed with its capability after using it for 20m outside with a 2A battery. I thought it would be a little small for these unruly Pennsylvania trees but it was up to the task, the size is actually perfect making it easy to use single-handed in tight spaces. This was with a 2A battery and I still had two bars left, I can't wait to throw on the 5A and really tear shit up.
