Also got the "can't be used on website" on family member's account despite having no issue earlier. Didn't check out then because was still deciding and because my Grubhub+ with Prime keeps randomly disconnecting/not showing.
But used it on app, so they may be in the process of changing how it works. So get your orders in ASAP. Scheduled order for tomorrow. Unfortunately KFC now adds fees on pickup, but still good deal. Didn't use the Prime Day deal since no delivery in my area.
Has anyone experienced similar experience where a place that does your order deliberately short change you the food because they were unhappy with the large discount?
I ordered $30 worth of breakfast from Wendy's for pickup. Baconator combo did not come with the sandwich. 2 sausage muffin breakfast sandwich did not come with the muffin.
Anyway I wasn't going to trek back to the store and argue with them. Instead, GrubHub app immediately refunded 90% when I logged a complaint.
More likely that the employees are just terrible. Big chains won't retaliate for coupons used (maybe if it's a franchise or a small business). Larger companies will not care imo
Opened the app and saw the pop up:"Congratulations, you've completed the Reward Run!""Enjoy 50% off your next order of $30 (up to $15). Claim your reward now or use the promo REWARD50 within 7 days."Can't find full terms and didn't see it in offer section. Guess though it says 7 days better use it earlier
The original promo was supposed to be to place 2 orders by the end of this week and get 50% off a 3rd order. I jumped through all the hoops and got the same promo that everyone seems to be getting without jumping through the all the hoops. 🤷
Worked on my account in the app without Grubhub+ and without having to do the Reward Run, scheduled a pickup for later today and managed to get my subtotal to $30 exactly for the max $15 off
Also used Paypal for the 5% quarterly cashback on my Chase card that should stack with the regular 3% cashback for restaurants 😁

It worked for me for pickup btw Also SD search algo sucks now, i searched "grubhub" and this came in ranked 10 under some expired GH deals.. I'll give it a thumbs up from myself since it worked for me lol * oh hey I got contributor points for voting for my own thread
Not sure if it's related to the search algo, but this didn't trip my "grubhub pickup" alert for some reason. Saw it on the frontpage RSS feed.
Don't forget, if you have amex gold, the $10 monthly dining credit applies another $10 off (back in statement credit). A $30 checkout total can net after code and amex gold perk to effectively $5.
Great way to stack many discounts on like a huge pizza or something like that
