Got one at this price point, and then another two for $89 last year. It has medium thickness side panels with a metal insert, so both the durability and the rigidity seem pretty good, BUT the lid has a problem. It's thick. It has metal reinforcement strips. And it bends.

It has a gas cartridge mounting, think like those on a hatch back or some SUVs, There is no hinge, which should mean that if the box is not quite square, the lid can still close flat. Until the sun causes the corners to life up a little. Due to overhang, it's still been waterproof. However, I haven't had any high wind rainstorms delivering horizontal driven rain. I don't think these would remain waterproof in those conditions. once you've got the lid corners lifting up slightly.

So severe thunderstorms and hurricanes could get water into one of these after a year or two, if you have it in the sun. Shade, I'm not sure.
