I also came here to recommend Boomerang FU. It's still the kids favorite game on the switch, highly recommend.

+100 for Boomerang Fu! My kids were able to grasp it at a very early age and from toddlers to grownups we all love it.

The only one I have experience with on this list is Overcooked and while it is fun, it's a very frustrating fun that kids may not enjoy.

The indie games that we find ourselves playing the most are:

Party Golf
Boomerang Fu
Unspottable
Unrailed
Screen Cheat
Retimed
Cel Damage
Move or Die Unleashed

Our kiddo also likes Astro Bear Party with other kids, but for me it's a very simple game that gets old fast. The kids like to play it in unconventional ways, so it's entertaining for them.
