cheesecake slices are not $40 but, yes, they are expensive. ($13)
At our local restaurant, food portions are huge and you can get multiple meals out of your $24 pasta dish for example.
Another thing read the cheese cakes closely. Example: pine apple upside down cheese cake is just a layer of cheesecake with a piece of pineapple upside down cake on top of it. It's not infused into the cake like one would think. Though there are some that are infused, a lot are this 2-layer method. I'm sure you regulars know
