Couple things that tripped me up getting it set up:
The propane regulator/hose assembly has an integrated power cable that must be plugged into the generator for the propane to work. It powers the pressure regulator.
There's a quick disconnect on the battery negative cable, mine was disconnected for shipping, its inside the main side panel you take off to put oil into the engine. (Didn't find this mentioned in the instruction manual)
Also it does not come with the battery trickle charger but if you have a battery tender you can buy a set of SAE to DC adapter cables on Amazon for ~$12 that will adapter the quick disconnect on the tender to the plug on the generator.
turns out the fuel I had gotten from a friend wasn't gasoline, was e85 or something, and the genny just wouldn't run on it. So once I figured that out, I put everything back together and it fired right up, again.
If they make a larger inverter genny, I'll probably buy one. Just a great company.

going 50amp allows me Hot water heater to run.
But this Firman is 1/3 the cost. lighter, less fuel, in stock but no 240v :|
maybe I get this now to have something then get bigger one later. hate flying blind through hurricane season.
Can always flip it locally if the Genmax comes back soon

edit: messaged support, seems to be a problem on their end. they told me to use Guest checkout and it works just fine.

Should be good for 3000 running watts and 3750 starting on LPG.
Running Watts 3200(Gas) 3000 (LPG)
Starting Watts 4000 (Gas) 3750 (LPG)

*Edit: I know the Genmax is closed frame and the two I noted are open frame, but they are both inverters. Hard to get that high of a power rating without going up closer to $2k…
