Anyone who's interested, just be aware that the $100 soundbar doesn't support HDMI Arc input. So no CEC, and no volume control with your TV's remote. You have to use the remote that came with the soundbar or use a programable remote and program the volume keys for Bose.
My office speakers have been cutting out randomly lately; thoughts on how the $100 one would be for a PC? Would only be using it for webex/music, no gaming or tv/movies.

I was thinking the same thing. Soundbar for the office setup. Not sure of placement under monitors? And listening at 2 ft away.
Need one for plex, are there any cheaper 5.1 speakers or equivalent? Heard 5.1 being converted to 2.1 stereo speakers is the reason dialogue is annoyingly quiet and then action sequence you get a heart attack from being super loud.

The nice thing about bose speakers is that they seem to balance the sound to adapt to kind of setting you need the speaker for. Be it music or tv. Such as, A bose solo tv is perfect for a small to med size room and you can feel the bass and could easily understood the dialog.
I have a sonos speakers and still like the bose user-friendly.
Everytime I see someone selling a bose on fb marketplace, I always try to buy it.
Is the 600 worth the extra $75 over the 550? I've owned the 550 in past, the sound was good but would need to be rebooted once in a while for HDMI ARC issues with my LG OLED. I wonder if 600 did not have that issue. Seems like 550 is the costco version of 600 so maybe the same.

Based on rating review, 550 is indeed a Costco version of 600 with the lack of voice assistant support. For me, it's a win as one less device with hearing ability. I'll personally go with 550
