Seems like a decent deal for Mario vs Donkey Kong. I've had it saved on Amazon probably since it was announced and never seen it go on sale past like $45.

Yeah, maybe if it were the Deluxe Edition but this looks to be the Standard Edition. Which from what I can tell was not released in the US market (we only got the Deluxe) so that would mean it would have to be an imported version (probably the same as that on Playasia - where it says packaged for U.A.E., Malaysia, and Singapore).

If you mean if these are the US version, then possibly yes, possibly no. Woot included a disclaimer in their Switch games listing where they said "all Switch games are region free" and that "units might ship with Spanish as the secondary languages on the packaging." While it's true you can play on any system, the resale value is slightly diminished since it's not a US version. Caveat emptor.

That would be stupid since Nintendo games have the best resale value in all of gaming so you are never paying extra when you buy a $60 game. With PS or Xbox that $60 is worth $20 within 4 months

I think of the Nintendo Select program which I hold out hope will return as the Switch ends its life and we turn to the Switch 2. So perhaps not as stupid as you think.
