Not a deal at this price. 50% off the inflated msrp is misleading. Batteries aren't even big enough to power the saws or grinder properly. These are outdated brushed tools. Only the grinder is brushless.

Q4 Promos about to drop on the 28th:

$599 plus free 8.0 forge https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../329968072. So for only $100 more, you get all FUEL plus larger 5.0 batteries and a new 8.0 forge battery to properly run the saw and grinder. Huge huge upgrade that runs circles around the posted kit. Again for only a hundred more.

These are both significantly more expensive. The description says both brushed and brushless, I'm no expert but it could be that certain tools are better off brushed?

Only the grinder in the originally posted deal is brushless and it gets bad reviews. Brushes are a wear part in the motor. Some stores had the kit for $350 on clearance which is closer to what it's worth.

Edited the 599 deal to include the free 8.0 forge ($199) value. Absolutely no reason to buy the posted kit for 499.
