Leads to high growth but eventually the market is saturated and sales plateau. Dyson should consider a trade-in + upgrade program as most people who bought one had a "buy it for life" mentality.
- Identical motor
- All the attachments the 15 Detect Absolute comes with (Fluffy, Digital Motorbar, Combination tool, Hair screw, Crevice tool)
- Extra attachments: Stubborn dirt brush, Mini soft dusting brush, Mattress tool, Flexi crevice, Up top adaptor (angle adjuster)
- Both come with docking station/charger.
They give the Costco a silly name, but what it really is is the "15 Detect Absolute Extra" (Extra referring to the "extra" attachments exclusive to Costco SKU).
I bought a V12 refurb on eBay, and it had a dented wand so I sent it back. Then I bought the V12 refurb from Walmart. Same box, direct from Dyson, also a dented wand. Sent it back too.
Bought the V15 deal on Woot, also came in the Dyson box refurbished by Dyson. Only difference was it was double boxed in an Amazon box. This one was not dented so I kept it. All of them have letters in the box from Dyson about the refurbishment process.
Also, I received more accessories than listed on the eBay deal. I have 3 brushes, plus the laser fluffy, plus the brush head, and the mini, crevice, etc. Didn't look up the HEPA thing but mine does have the filter on top, just a different color cap.
Not the best deal ever, but I needed it.
