you CAN use ATX with this bracket, but you will lose the hdd space
The limiting factors to consider are the the size of the ATX PSU (150x86x150mm MAX), the orientation of the PSU (facing the side or the front) and if you need the necessary clearance for your GPU. My GPU is 320mm long and will be mounted horizontally, so I had to find a bracket that mounts high within the case to clear the GPU.
