Can someone present detail on this? Is the rear cam separate need to be wired and installed to rear windows? The cabin view is additional working simultaneously with front and rear ? How do you download the footage? Taking out the SD and plugging in to your laptop or cellphone physically? Thanks
I have the e2. Difference being the e3 has cabin view. Rear cam is wired to front cam. Front cam has power wire that plugs to 12v accessory socket. Wires can be tucked along headliner and weatherstripping to rear window. Comes with moulding prying tool. Rear cam sticks to back window. Theres an app that links cam to phone. All recordings are filed in order of date time. Each cam view has it's own file...front, cabin, rear. You'll need a micro sd card... doesn't come with. I read reviews which said there were sd card comparability issues with different brands so I went with a vantrue card.

Is a $150 camera in the car considered as valuable and thus increases the chance of window-breaking theft?
Had same thought but after getting and installing, its not really visible from outside if u mount right at top of windshield on tint strip behind rearview mirror. U can always remove it when parked.... somewhat of a hassle to unplug wires and separate from its base but doable.
There's a cam called Wolfbox thats pretty stealthy. It attaches behind rearview mirror. Cant comment on functionality but looks decent. I have the E2. For sake of this thread, I think this E3 is a good deal.
Search online for recent video of insurance scammer backing into car on highway in Brooklyn....might help with decision.
