I was not impressed with the panel last time this one came up. Colors pretty washed out, poor contrast. I wasnt expecting an OLED here, but i wanted it to be as good as the LG VA panel it was replacing and it just wasn't. Ended up returning and buying a Samsung ultrawide, no regrets despite paying a lot more.

These negative nancys scared me off Wink

TBH thought this is a pretty big gaming monitor not to be curved. I have a 34" inch I wish was more curved. Wish I could see this monitor in person somewhere.

Do you mind sharing the model of Samsung?

To keep the price down. Some folks value size at more affordable price.

Typically slickdeals drama. 😂 Oh I don't have this monitor but it's not curved. 1440P?!😭

If you come to this panel from a curve you will have a hard time. Eventually you get used to it. It's a nice panel for the price, very big, good brightness and I find the image and colors look fine. I use it for work as a secondary monitor mainly and some occasional gaming. It's a cheap price too so don't expect a mini led or quantum display here for god sakes.

Pretty niche monitor but I'm a big fan of non curve in general and IPS panels and it only took me a day to adjust to the size by moving back a little.

It's the same PPI as 32" with 1440p so not great, not terrible. Also, it allows the monitor to run at decent frames without the most expensive GPUs.
