Good deal for a quality cordless miter saw. I don't have any Bosch 18v tools though. I suppose a battery adapter may work but it is a pretty high amperage draw to trust a battery adapter to be reliable.

Great deal on a battery powered 12" slider, and you don't see Bosch's going on sale like this, often. That said, that 8amp battery lists for $169 and about the best price you see on it is at Amazon for $135. So, taking the battery and charger, together, figure that worth at least $150 and the miter saw (bare tool) is only $250. That's a really good deal.

Dang this looks like a great deal if you're looking for the mobility of a battery powered miter. I've been looking for a corded dual-bevel to replace my Ryobi, but realized that a big drawback to battery (at least for me) is that it won't trigger a plug-in dust extractor when it turns on.

Been waiting for another 10" deal after waiting too long to bite last holiday. Hopefully another soon. Got a good deal on a rigid plug in few months back which I really like but would love to have all cordless.

Do they make a battery to wall outlet plug-in? This deal is enticing, but I'd rather not deal with batteries as it would be in my garage

Not sure they make that but it is simple to retrofit at home as long as Bosch doesn't use a smart compatibility lockout that explicitly looks for their battery.

Kroger has Lowe's $200 gift card for $180. This way you can save additional $20 on purchasing this miter saw. Limit is 1 gift card though but if you can find someone to buy you another $200 gift card, you can literally buy this miter saw for $360+ tax. That will make this deal even sweeter.

They dont. Metabo HPT (hitachi) makes one for their 36V tools.

Bosch batteries are absolute trash. I will never own Bosch battery powered anything again. YMMV
