Normally a Skechers, Adidas person. Casual wear for work but can stand up to walking a bit. If you haven't tried all birds before, just be aware these wear drastically different than other mainstream fits. I am not a huge fan of it but am currently wearing a pair. Will be going directly back to Skechers when these wear down.

Bought an Allbirds Wool Dasher a couple of years back and can say that it doesn't live up to the hype. Sole felt very hard while running, wore out too soon and is too slippery on anything that is even slightly wet. Definitely would not buy again.

Really enjoyed the wool runners during the 30 degrees of chicago during the winter.

Note however due to whomever designed these. These are not made to last. I'm not pulling the trigger until these are sub $50-$40 for something disposable after a few months.

There's a few apparel/shoe companies out there that seem like they started with their high price point/high advertising budget first and then backed into a product. Allbirds, Thursday Boots, MeUndies, Bombas socks, etc - none of them are doing anything groundbreaking they are just advertising out the nose and drawing attention to the fact that they aren't bottom of the barrell quality. I am just turned off by any product that heavily invests in podcast/instagram advertising, I just assume that's what I'm paying for. But judging by these comments these aren't even quality shoes.

Bombas boast about donating socks when you buy their socks. That's easy to do when you pay enough for 2 pairs, for 1 pair.

Agree with others that Allbirds are average but heavily marketed.
This is a promoted (ie paid affiliate ) post on Slickdeals even.

I like the concept of being machine washable, but the fabric outer layer seems to be a debris magnet.
